UV Gel Lashing System
1. UV LED Lamp
Purpose and Features:
o UV LED technology cures lash adhesive instantly avoiding the client having down time for adhesive dry time.
o UV LED must be accompanied by black gel pads to avoid the client having direct eye contact with the light.
2. Gel Lash Adhesive
Types and Characteristics:
o Gel lash adhesive dries instantly while it is exposed to the UV light for 2-3 seconds.
o Gel Lash Adhesive with the correct isolation application can have retention on the natural lash for 3-6 weeks.
o Gel Lash Adhesive must be stored in a cool place away. Avoid direct exposure to light or air for long periods of time.
3. Safety Glasses
Purpose:
o Safety glasses protect the lash technician eyes from direct exposure to the LED UV light.
4. Lash Extension Remover
Safe Removal Techniques:
o Clients should not be removing their own lashes. Lash extensions should be removed by professionals.
o Creamy consistency remover must be placed on lashes and left to soak for 5-10 minutes.
